Now You Can Collaborate With Poe, Dickens, Nietzsche, Shakespeare…

Ever wondered what Shakespeare would have written after he finished The Tempest? Well, thanks to Google, you can try and find out. A new demo for their collaboration tools in Google Docs lets you work with famous—and very dead—poets, playwrights and authors.
Now’s your chance to work with Edgar Allan Poe, William Shakespeare, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Charles Dickens, Friedrich Nietzsche and Emily Dickinson — all at once!
As you type your text into the demo box, these writers will add little flourishes and quotes to your story.
This is pretty cool, although if you type in something famous, like I did — ‘It was the best of times it was the worst of times…’, you may find that Dickens alters his own words. It was almost spooky seeing these dead people adding or amending things I wrote…
Try it and let us know what you think. You can try it out here.
