I'm slowly becoming nocturnal, and stealing thread ideas from Dakota.  How about you?

This website mixed with social networks and Netflix leaves no room for sleep.

Netflix is like a drug.  Right now I'm streaming Dead Zone; I heard it was a pretty good show.

Netflix is like meth. The way I figure, no matter what time I go to sleep, I'll never wake up before noon. There is just too much to do...sleeping is overrated anyway.

I learned about Breaking Bad from these threads.
Currently watching George Carlin: It's Bad for Ya!

Mostly I watch documentaries.
I watched this one called Generation: RX, which made me wonder if we're just one big chemical experiment.

Then I watched "Food Matters" and "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead" which made me want to become a vegan again. Haha.

You should watch Food Inc. Breaking Bad is the best show ever. I understood about the chemical experiment on an acid trip and... *ahem* yeah but you should Food Inc.

Saw that one a long time ago, The Gerson Miracle is another good one.

I've watched a lot of documentaries and they kind of bum me out now and not in the Fight Club kind of way either. I need to watch Generation Rx. Have you seen The Medicated Child? I seen most of it in my sopmore sociology class, ugh some crazy stuff.

I haven't seen that one, makes you wonder if that Prozac you took changed a part of your mind.

Kind of funny that Netflix is like a revolutionaries college.

I'm down for revolution...but so is Netflix stocks :/

The majority of what I watch are documentary series.  Like right now I'm watching The Pyramid Code (Dead Zone was boring me).  I'm pretty much convinced that the Egyptians were geniuses and we'll never achieve their level of brilliance.

As for food documentaries, Forks over Knives was the one that finally turned me vegan.

Interesting...I'll have to watch those.

Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead are both on instant queue now.

I just finished copying all of the craft essays to my computer, and I plan on printing them later.  Tomorrow I will go get a binder to keep them all in, nice and safe.  I'm such a nerd.

We can copy and paste them now, thats awesome. Couldn't do that on the Cult. I might have to steal your idea.

What stopped you on the Cult?

The code made it to where where you couldn't copy and paste the essays so and you had to click like 5 million times to scroll through the them. I need to re-read all of chuck's again, its been awhile..

Have you ever tried to sleep while someone is playing World of Warcraft 2' from the bed?  It's pretty difficult.

I have no idea why I am still awake, it is terribly inconvenient.

But I've been nocturnal my entire life, so while it may have consequences and be inconvenient, I am somewhat used to it and capable of dealing with limited/creative sleep schedules.

I work nights (having accepted and adapted to my lifesltyle long ago), but I have class at noon, an exam even. Which is why this is not convenient.

I'm up because I like annoying my neighbors with my loud music.

No, actually I'm just a night person. Always have been.

Raelyn's picture

I was a morning person.  The get up a little before 6am type morning person.  Once I moved in with my boyfriend that slowly changed, and now I can't get to sleep before 4am or wake up before 11am...unless I have a morning shift.

@Nkw - That's still eight hours of sleep you can get if you crash right now!

Oh poo... well then drink plenty of green tea when you wake up.  Is it a multiple choice exam or an essay?

There will be plenty of time to sleep after I'm dead. In the meantime, I have about 200 years worth of interesting ideas to pursue and a few people who are worth spending time with to fill the down times in between. As for movies, I'd rather write a screenplay than watch one.

I just tho't of this...

TIME

I watch you through the window; you're impatient to get out,

Pacing, spacing, mind a'racing; cursing time, no doubt.

We people do such curious things, while obsessing to defeat it.

We take time, waste time, spend time, lose time.

Musicians even beat it.

Me? I write, therefore I am.

Simple answer - cause I'm drunk, and when I'm after drinking with my friends I have too much stories to write down; stories that maybe will become useful in future writing (and 'cause I'm not from USA, hour may look weird)

It is 5:10 on the Eastern Seaboard and I am still not only awake, I can't even get close to sleep. So I'm gonna drop an Ancestral Spirit on this thread and bring it back from the wipe (I'm a Shammy, sorry for not using a more apparent rez spell).

But, no, its not because I've been playing WoW all night (I've been exclusively listening to music since I read flamina's Psychosis submission when I discovered riot folk). My winter break started and my sleep schedule made a bolt for the insane. So Now I sleep until 1PM and can;t get asleep until after 5 no matter what I do.

My dog is VERY upset about this development.

I can't remember the last time I got to sleep before 4am. For some reason I feel that you would find this interesting. If not it might help put you to sleep. Personally, I thought it was just about the coolest thing I've seen in quite some time.

I'm pretty fascinated by the article, but I doubt that it's going to help put me to sleep any better than reviewing stuff in the workshop (on the bright side, I am right now 1 point from getting onto the top 5 leaderboard. I doubt I'll be able to advance until morning although I have at least 2 uncredited reviews)
