Do you ever have a time when you want to read a good book that you have read before and it drives you crazy?

There is a book that I really want to read but I cannot figure out what it is called. I remember reading about a woman that is married to a man. He then leaves to war and goes missing. Because of this.. he is thought dead. His wife many years and then remarries his best friend. She doesn't know that her first husband has lost his memory and is somewhere out there. When he regains his memory, he comes back and catches his wife and her new husband together. The wife then throughout the book has to decide with which one she wants to stay.(This is a romance novel)(I think that both of the male names started with an s)

Does anyone the author or title of this book?

It sounds kind of like the movie Brothers, which I don't think is based on a book.

No idea about the book, but I know someone this happened to. Well, my friend's grandmother, who I have met several times (though the second husband wasn't the guy's best friend and there was no amnesia).

Sounds just like the movie Pearl Harbor. Not sure if that was based on a book, but it's a love story in an embellished history lesson

It sounds like the plot of A Very Brady Sequel, but I'm not sure that was a book.

Apperently it's a very popular movie not based on any books... Is the movie outlined in Save the Cat! The Last Book on Screenwriting You'll Ever Need?
