Hello, there. I've been a member since the beginning, and since, I can count on one hand the amount of times I've been on this site. I know, I have been depriving myself. I'm 27, and have been writing for ten years. I began writing screenplays, because I love movies, and thought all it would take would be to have a script. However, I never did anything about it. I do write a lot but I never attempt to get anything published. For the last four years, I have done nothing but write short stories, and novels. In a few months, May 1 I hope, I'll be self-publishing my first novel to the Kindle. And I feel alone in this. And that's my fault, cos I am an antisocial ass. So, in the hopes of reversing my antisocial assery, I vow to join in more discussions, read columns, interact with you fine writerly folk. We all know how lonely this is, just us and the paper or screen before us, and I've been doing this on my own for to long. Cheers.

@averydoll It's called Walking Between Raindrops. It's about a brother and sister who are trying to hold on to a bag of money belonging to their drug-making neighbor. I'm trying to keep the explanation to a minimum, cos believe me, I could ramble enough for two discussions. It's kind of a crime story set in a small town in October, 1995. Like any writer, I'd imagine, there's a few other novels in various states of doneness. WBR was the simplest idea and story I had, so I went with that first.
And to you others, thank you for the welcome.
