I'm Rachel, wannabe Captain Obvious, general all round creative bunny, and doing my best poker face in the 9 to 5 to get to the time of day when I can unleash the muses within. Being creative is my oeuvre, and writing is like breathing to me, it just happens when it happens.
My favourite genre to write is sci-fi, though I do dabble in erotica and other genre fiction. I have been paid for a few of my stories, and my main aim is to get a novel or two published, and break into the games and television industry as a creative director.
Most of the pieces I post on here will tie into the universe I have created, as I love to use short stories to explore facets of it that are outside the main story I am writing for it.

Hey, Rachel! I love writing extra stories in conjunction with what I'm working on, but I've never been great at sci-fi or world-building, so I usually use it to explore characters who don't play central roles in the story so they stay dynamic and fresh.
I'm guessing you have, but you've checked out Teleport Us!, right?
