Anyone else here still write these? I think I had an attachment to epic poetry till I listened to my first epic poem called The Illiad at seven. I didn't understand the story then (go figure), but the style stuck with me while getting into reading Edgar Allen Poe.

I tend to rhyme, though not in traditional patterns. Like I tend to rhyme on the same line. Such as: AA\n BB\n AA\n BB\n

Instead of something like ABBA BCCB CDDC. I also like mixing up different rhyming patterns: ABBA BCBC CDDC.

\n is new line in C languages.
