I'm just curious about who here writes/plays/sings music as well as prose. I've been in a few bands, with my previous being the most "successful". I'm saying successful based on my personal feelign toward the music we were able to write, not necessarily our level of accomplishment.

Either way, I'm proud of what we did, and I'd like to share it with you in case you're interested:

After it Ends on Soundcloud

I wrote the lyrics, was the lead singer, and alternated lead/rhythm guitar depending on the song.

I'd love to hear what you guys think.

oho boy. this is my cup of tea. i considering myself a musician at some point but it never went anywhere - honestly, i should have stuck with it, and it's still a huge passion of mine.

anyway. the vocal melody in mud is lovely. your voice and lyrical style reminds me of craig owens (chiodos)/anthony green (circa survive), so kudos for having some nices pipes.

as a whole, i'm impressed. i'm not exactly in the right mind to get all technical in terms of the music itself, but regardless, good job. i'll give these tracks a few more listens and might go into detail later.

whatever you do, don't stop. this stuff is good, and in the right avenue, it could take you places.

i'm particularly curious the rest of your writing now.

So far I think that sounds at least as good as anything else I hear on a rock station.
