“God Told Me To Write About Jesus” - The Revelation of Bill O’Reilly

Revelations from divine sources seem to be a dime-a-dozen or scarcer than hen’s teeth, depending on who you talk to. But now, Bill O’Reilly—Fox News anchor, political commentator and novelist—says that God told him what to write next, namely a book called Killing Jesus: a History about, uh… the killing of Jesus…
The Fox News anchor explains in an interview on CBS' "60 Minutes" that one night he awoke with the title of the book in his head. He says he believes he got that message from the Holy Spirit. O'Reilly says the book is a researched, historic account. Despite its de-emphasis of religion, he is using his special gifts from God in a positive way. He says it's all part of God's plan for him.
O’Reilly’s already reached the top of the New York Times best-seller list with both of his previous books, Killing Lincoln and Killing Kennedy. Some wags are already suggesting O’Reilly might have a bit of a theme going here, regardless of the Holy Spirit’s intervention—and a new best-seller, too, according to some pundits.
Despite selling lots of copies, his books have been heavily criticized, particularly for playing fast and loose with facts and not supporting his proclamations with hard sources. So much so that the bookstores at Ford’s Theatre banned Killing Lincoln, despite it’s commercial success.
Based on this, I’m not convinced he won’t just be using the Bible for his source material despite any claims that it will be “a researched, historic account." Will you be buying O'Reilly's new book?
O'Reilly will be interviewed on 60 Minutes, Sunday night, 29 October.
