Christa Faust to Debut Hardboiled Lesbian Erotica Series
Christa Faust just won the prestigious 'Best Book Title I've Heard Recently' award with Butch Fatale: Dyke Dick in Double-D Double Cross.
The crime writer, known for such pulp gems as Money Shot and Choke Hold, has posted an excerpt from the new book, which she describes as hardboiled lesbian erotica.
It's pretty steamy and very NSFW. So maybe wait until you get home to read it, or else you'll have some explaining to do to your office's IT folks.
If you do have to wait, here's a tease:
In pulp novels, the private dick always keeps a gat in his desk drawer. I keep my iron in a gunsafe keyed to my fingerprint, but I do keep an extra strap-on in my desk drawer. You know, for emergencies.
Brilliant. I love Faust's work (so much that I interviewed her on the The Cult back in '08), and this looks like a fun take on the archetype of the private detective.
I'm not sure where it's being published yet (Hard Case Crime put out Money Shot and Choke Hold, but the Butch Fatale cover lacks their trademark). Regardless, wherever it gets published, I will find it.
