BookDigits Raffles off Awesome Prizes to Readers

Move over, GoodReads! BookDigits is going to help readers find their new favorite book fast—and the site is also giving them the chance to win a prize at the same time. An exciting new feature, The BookDigits Raffle, brings one site user the opportunity to snag a literary-themed gift each month.

The raffle works easily enough: for every review a member writes about a book, he or she earns a raffle ticket. The more you read, the bigger chance you have to win. This month’s prize is a $50 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble, and the winner will be drawn on October 31st.

BookDigits provides users with an alternative to Goodreads and involves “less noise, no spam, and better recommendations,” according to creator Bennett Gavrish. The site is free to join and allows readers to post ratings, build to-read lists, track reading stats, receive personalized recommendations, and even import data from Goodreads.
