A Thank You and An Update On the LitReactor Fundraiser
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
We asked for helped, and you stepped up big time. Our fundraiser brought in more than $26,000, which is going to keep us healthy for the foreseeable future.
We're in the process of handling all the perks. As of this morning:
- Every author who has offered a critique has been contacted. Either I gave them your information, or emailed you with theirs. Not all the authors have reached out to all the perk recipients—they've very generously offered their time and we just ask you have a little patience. If you don't hear from them in the next week, reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- We have a lot of books to process and send, and they're all in various stages of being signed, packaged, and sent out. I know you're all eager to get them. We're doing our best to fulfill them as quickly as we can.
- The stickers will be heading out soon too!
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to me at the above email address.
So: what's next? This fundraiser helped us plug the leaks on the ship, and now that we're not actively sinking, we're having conversations on how to make the site better. We're planning to produce a survey soon, in which we'll pose the question about what YOU want to see, but we have a couple of ideas ourselves.
So... more soon. And again, thank you.
