The deadline for this quarter’s submissions is June 30th.

If you’re a SFF writer, and you’re not familiar with The Writers of the Future contest, I strongly suggest checking it out. Looking for something to put on your cover letter to catch an editor’s attention? Placing here is a good place to start. It certainly worked for Patrick Rothfuss.

Good luck!

I’ll be entering this time around. It’s my first attempt at something like this--or getting published at all, for that matter. I'm already nervous and frantically revising!

Today is the last day for this quarter’s submissions. So, if you have a polished bit of SFF I totally recommend having a go of it. The prizes include publication (at professional rates), being flown roundtrip to LA for an extensive workshop (including hotel), and more. It's totally worth it.

Would reincarnation be considered SFF?

Got me. Can't hurt to try. The worst they can do is say no.
