Just watched the trailer for the trailer, if that makes any sense!
Not watch it yet of course so try and keep an open mind when I do see it but it looks like they have cocked it right up, ( running zombies? Eh?) Would have been better as a TV show if you would have asked me, I mean American drama is pretty much like very morish crack with breaking bad and Walking dead, Game of thrones. It would have suited the nature of the books scattergun narrative, but hey looks like now I'm just stuck with the cockney version.

Cor blimey govoner, what a two and eight to get in to.
I love that book. It's my favorite zombie thing ever (Left 4 Dead 2 is a close second). The writing and the way he covers a whole war is just amazing.
They're filming it up the road from me at the moment. Brad Pitt took his kids to my local cinema on Sunday night. My lady used to work there. It's usual, I suppose, in L.A., but not so much in Kent.
I hope they stick to the book. It would make such a great film, all cut into short scenes that don't connect except in the over-view of a war. If they just focus in on a few characters and keep it in one storyline, it'll lose a lot of it's impact. Although there are so many short scenes in the book, they could easily do just a few of them in this movie and make it into a trilogy.
I want it to have the feel of Sin City with it's short story approach. And it should have Bruce Willis in it. Everything should.
