I just read through Grigori's final draft for the battle against Bill and, well, I don't have anything to say. It was good and solid and I liked it a lot. I think that's why he isn't getting many reviews -- it doesn't really need any work.

I feel kind of bad for not reviewing the ones in that list, but I just don't know if I'd have anything to say. I'm not a fan of sci-fi nor am I good at reviewing it, so Alien's is out. I don't have time to read Deet's because it's so long.

I plan to review these ^ over the weekend - hopefully before saturday night, as I also plan to submit a new story to the workshop on Sunday. I was only going to review stories that came in after my join date, but I think I've run through all those.
Just wanted to say Grigori's story is indeed the tits and the fact it's still on the list is criminal. I have an entire Saturday to myself tomorrow, so I'll be giving these fine tales a once over. Thanks, Matt, for maintaining this fine thread!

I'll vouch for Type, this is fucking good. I'm a few pages in on my first read-through and it's good. Definitely worth your time, even if it is long.
thanks courtney :)
It's good work. It has a character in it that I'm really looking forward to reading more about.
Sorry, missed yesterday.

@Matt
You're officially my favorite whore. And I just came back from Amsterdam, so that's saying a lot.
No, see, I whore other peoples submissions. I am the pimp. I only gots the finest!
I'm sure this has been asked before, but what happens if for whatever reason someone never "rates" your review of his or her manuscript? Do you just never earn points for it?
you get points after a week automatically. The full 3 I believe.
So I've introduced myself, submitted and am now whoring. Which for me in a few hours on a Monday evening is pretty good going (normally I insist on a candle-lit dinner between the first two.)
The Curator
Fantastic (I think that's the right genre..difficult to tell 'cos I generally dance on the wobbly edges.)

Just an odd little thing.
Just reading it Rach. Taking my time with it as you're the lucky recipient of my first review (which may be a blessing or a curse - not sure yet, but I'm enjoying it so far..)
Just uploaded my latest story, a mundane science fiction piece called "Nootropic Software Blues."
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read my story, and I look forward to hearing what you guys have to say about it.

Side note: You folks submitting are way braver than I. Why you ask? I am quite a ways into a novel and haven't showed but a few people. I'm scared, yes I said it.
