A woman looses her unborn child in a motor accident. Receiving no support from her absentee husband or her family, she deals with her overwhelming guilt and depression by employing sex as a punishment

Little more info: 3 chapters + intro / 8,500 words approx

Based on true story from Aust, kinda. A woman did lose her unborn child in a motor accident. This is my take on how she deals with it.

Looking for any feedback as any feedback is good feedback.

Thanks. Ty

I second (third?) the recomendation of Sympathy for Mr. Claus, it'sa humdinger of weirdness. Also, it makes me sad to see stories with 0 reviews, but since I can't force myself to review out of turn, some of you slackers (looking at you, _____________) should step up. Since it's father's day, I am currently basking in a steak and bacon-induced coma, and therefore cannot review until later. Bury me at makeout creek.

I notice my silly little flash fic submission isn't in the latest update... Is this because it has a small handful of reviews, or is it because I'm just a thorbbing, veiny prick? I'm fine with either reason, I just like to know who my enemies are so I can put them on the list in my little book bound with human flesh. Just kidding... sort of.

I don't normally include submissions with over 3 reviews. You're at 4. Pimp it out if you need more reviews. Normally my update is just to call attention to folks who really need to be looked at.

These three for instance have been on the list for a month and won't be retired until they hit 3.

Ok, I figured as much, and actually have no ego problems with 4 reviews, or any for that matter, as I'm sure people do what I do: read a submission, decide if I can be constructive about why I don't like it, or somewhat objective if I absolutely love it - then write a review. If I can't keep my distaste or childish adoration from being obvious, I just don't review it.

So, if it sounded like I was being a whiney little bitch, I apologize. I just wanted clarification on why my post wasn't on the list. I honestly figured it was my rampant body odor. So, it's good to see that you can't smell me... yet.

Matt Attack's picture

You weren't. I also think it is decent of you to consider whether you'll be constructive or not. In no small part is that a terrible idea and something we should each consider before handling someones submission.

Strange Photon's picture
Strange Photon from Fort Wayne, IN is reading Laurie Anderson lyrics June 20, 2012 - 7:18am

I'm a firm believer that love is just as destructive as hate in this world, and that fact holds true in writing. When I really love a piece, I can't give very specific criticisms. When I hate one, I just want to piss all over it, even for the most miniscule faux pas. Spread the apathy people, it is our only hope!

Okay!  I finally reviewed the story I said I was going to review forever ago.  I have to do some reviews this week, so if you want me to take a look at your story, hit me up.

No .docx, please, because I can't open them.  Tell me here or PM me.  I'll do my best!
