Ideas:

New Constitutional draft (Kill Your Framers) - Magna Carta with a boo radley/deux ex machina! Could hit big with test audiences.

Biblical edits (honestly, put the thing under a mattress for a 3 month minimum .....then re-edit) - tweak the godly-empirical stuff. More man-in-the-street-killing God's unchosen-sorta thing. Big Bang Prequel.

Lets play with the star-birth-energy genre. Play the romance up - life/death dance of Lovers!

Really Open to Feedback.

I have to say, I've read your post several times now, and I'm stumped.

Are these story ideas?

I give him a B + on his intro. The vaguely anti Christain, anti British, anti American failed to shock anyone stuff we've all heard before, and the random ranting too. But I do think that it is the first time I've seen it together here first thing, and that makes it more interesting than most.*

*I wish I was teasing here, but really that is an honest assessment.

The 300 sequel looks pretty unappetizing.

J, did you like the original?

I liked the visual style, which has now become pretty common. There were some really killer frames. Story was meh. Whatever they were doing with digital filters (or whatever they used) and extreme slo-mo and all that looked fresh and interesting, but now it's used all over the place. Even when it's done well it's just not very exciting to me. (I do wish it were. Or I wish that style was coupled with more interesting plot-substance.)

Same sort of thing happened with The Matrix, I guess.

On the other hand, I thought Sucker Punch was way better than it looked from the trailer. I might still see it, like countless other dudes meh-ing on the net.

I actually agree with you on all accounts. Especially Sucker Punch.

I'll definitely see the new 300, too, but likely only on Blu-Ray.

I'm a big fan of wasting the occasional weekday at our local dollar theatre. Which is more like a $1.75, but that doesn't have the same ring. I might catch it there.

So what I've gathered from reading this is that no one knows what the OP was talking about so you all decided to discuss moves. Makes me laugh. Love it.

We are only slightly more likely to do that when we don't understand a post than when we do.
