Does anyone have a system that incorporates food into their writing schedule/habits? If so, care to share?
Peanut Butter Sammiches
Protein Shakes
Vegetable Drinks
Coffee/Teas
Alcohol, not in any particular order: Absinth, Jagermeister, Ouzo, or Sambuca. Though I'd kill for some Mastika. Failing that, coffee when it's cold or just plain water. I used to do the energy drink thing, but then I'd forget what day it was as my word count spun over five digits.
As far as food goes, whatever I can scavenge from the kitchen. I try to keep it healthy, mostly apples and almonds. I'll dice up some cheese and munch on that, or if I'm really hungry, bacon shots.
Pack of Marlboros.
I usually get my big blocks of writing in at night. So, like Matt, Marbs and coffee.
otherwise I just eat when I am hungry.
