Hi everybody. Richard (wickerkat) recommended I make an introduction post here. I can only guess that all people who make an introduction post are deeply hated by the community and he is obviously trying to ruin my reputation already.
My name is Max Booth III. I am the editor-in-chief of Perpetual Motion Machine Publishing and the assistant editor of Dark Moon Digest. Next March, Post Mortem Press will publish my debut novel, TOXICITY (which Richard actually edited) and then September 2014 Kraken Press will publish my second novel, THE MIND IS A RAZORBLADE. I also have two story collections already available.
I've been reading the articles on litreactor for a while now so I figured I might as well see what the forums are like. Oh, and I also just registered for Clevenger's class. Very excited about that.
Welcome Max, it's good to see you here. I don't do memes anymore...it seems to run people off. It'll be okay.
Being deeply hated is the first step to becoming a part of any community.
Hello, and welcome to Litreactor.
I'm sorry, we don't allow adverbs here. From now one, you will be hated at the shallowest depth. The wading pool of hatred.
Now that we've gotten that ugliness out of the way; welcome, cowpoke! All aboard the rootin'est, tootin'est, high falutin'est train to Misery, Failure and Damnation this side of the Rio Grande! Next stop: The Arizona of the Human Spirit. Yeee-haw!
Hi! I know you. Enjoy your time at LitReactor! We hope you find it magical
Ha, just saw this. Welcome, Max. This guy is one of the hardest working men in publishing today. Max is very talented, and TOXICITY is one dysfunctional and compelling novel. PMMP is also doing some really cool things as well. I've been involved with Dark Moon Digest, including a bit of flash (remember "Rudy Jenkins Buries His Fears"?) alongside Ketchum and a ton of other excellent authors in SLICES OF FLESH. AND, my second short storycollection is at Kraken Press, STARING INTO THE ABYSS, as you already know. You'll enjoy Clevenger's class, Max. I recently turned Max onto Baer and Clevenger, so he'll never be the same again. :-)
Welcome.
Welcome, Mr. Booth!
Where in Texas do you live?
Hello and welcome, Max!
