I was sitting in class and realized how excited I am for the next Donna Tartt book scheduled for publication this year. Any other books or pieces of literature you are particularly excited for?
Irvine Welsh brings out a prequel to Trainspotting this year, In April I believe. That should be pretty damn good.
The new CaLeb j Ross book. Not too sure otherwise. I rarely know when an author is bringing one out till its out. On a side nite, is Donna tart good?
The Secret History is one of my favorite books, I highly recommend it if you're interested in reading Donna Tartt.
I'm looking forward to the new Dark Tower book by Stephen King.
Oh yeah. That too. Wind Through The Keyhole.
Other than that, I want to catch up on all the books I haven't read and that are on my kindle. I have like 700 books on my kindle. Everything from the autobiography of Malcolm X to the Warmed and Bound anthology.
Ahhh yeah, I can't fucking wait for Skag Boys either Martin. I'm actually listening to the Trainspotting soundtrack thinking about it.
Wild Thing by Josh Bazell and Dora: A Head Case by Lidia Yuknavitch.
Yeah. Good one brandon. Lidia I will forever read. I'm reading one of her earlier collections at the moment. Not as good, but you can see that e talents there.
question: what is lidia like? I heard the hype, but never bought it.
I still need to read her books too. That will be the next thing I buy.
Secret History is amazing - glad to hear DT has a new one coming out this year (I didn't really connect with her last one - I think it was called The Little Friend.
@Deets999. Yeah I heard that DT's last book really bombed. I haven't read it, the reason being a combination of the fact that I have too much unread books to begin with and the fact that I don't want to ruin the high pedestal I place The Secret History and Donna Tartt on.
