Battles that I think will be tough in round one: Stacy vs Chester, Richard vs Mckay, XyZy vs Jeff, Voodoo_em vs Boone, and Courtney vs Renfield.
Those are just a few that I'm interested to see who comes out on top.
Also, I see a round one re-match. Nick vs Dave, I'm pretty certainthey met in round one last time, so I'm wondering how that will fall this time.

Thing that sucked about making this list was that, yeah, I know about half of you, and I know how you stacked up in WAR the first time. Or I know your reputation (if I read you in Warmed and Bound I consider that you have a "reputation"). And so I was able to make some assumptions in some areas of the seeding process. But the seeding process was, in a very large part, completely random this time, because a whole bunch of the contestants are dark horses. There were some dark horses last time that I fully expected to serve as cannon fodder. One of those lost only to the champion. Another knocked out a house favorite in the first round.
So if you know your opponent, be wary. If you do not, be very wary. It's scary.

Also, for those of you who are all, "Well shit, I'm on the bottom half of the list, Utah must think I'm in the lower 50% tier of writers": that's not how the brackets work. For every 16 contestants (counting down vertically) there are, located at random but paired in a nonrandom manner--and this was fucking tricky to pull off with the hosting site, which gripe I will save until I set up the brackets for WAR3: Fist In Your Bung--chosen seeds 1-4, then a bunch of random assignations. So if you see yourself down there in the bottom half (I'm in the bottom half, and I'm an arrogant bastard), that means nothing except that you will start writing a week after the people in the top half.
