I just want to say thank you to the departed who are still rocking the reading and voting in these later matches. I know what a time commitment it can be, and I (and the other writers still waging war) really and truly appreciate the continued support.

^ I'll chime in with the above. It's nice to see the votes still lingering out there. Of course we all expect voters to drop, but it's those of you who are dedicated to the art of WAR who stick around to vote who are AWESOME.
It's always.nice to know that there's still an audience out there.

I just want to say you did a great job with the prompts this past week, Jesica. I'd never heard the songs and I liked them all. They also inspired great stories. Also, It's rare that I really love a song the first time I listen to it but the song on match 4 "Runs in the Family" is fantastic. I love it and have probably listened to it 10 times in the past few days. Thanks for turning me on to some new stuff!!!
avery of the dead
from Kentucky is reading Cipher SistersJanuary 25, 2013 - 5:57pm
Hooray!
My favorite one for a prompt last time was Wings, because there are just so many good lines in there. In fact...I may have used a line from that song as a prompt in an earlier round.
But I thought they all produced great stories and I've been impressed with this round.

Also, for the Pit this is Round Pazuzu. So if you see that, please be aware that your prompt is NOT Pazuzu. That is the name of the round.
Thank god for AFP and Dresden Dolls, both. And thanks for giving me the best prompt, Avery!
These upcoming Pit matches look intense. Good luck, everyone.
Time for me to bite the dust! But I'll keep reading fo sho.
I have to face Otis next so I may be joining you soon Lianna. I also look forward to that Thunderdome battle I heard rumors about.
I'm surprised I made it as far as I did, good luck to those remaining!
Congrats to lspieller for the final cut and thrust that has ended me! I can't wait to see how the rest of the competition turns out. So much blood!
Aha! There shall be blood in Thunderdome! I want to lick my wounds first.
that's closure! I'm honestly surprised I'm still here. However, I'm up agasint Gordon next...so I might not be long for this world.
One of my best friends used to play with these guys
Oh yes, I love that video.
Man, people sure do get quiet when they're writing, huh? (I've got nothing, on either account.)
Oops I meant THANKS Closure. Damn phone.
It sas been pretty quiet round these parts. I have a few ideas for my story but none that I'm really in love with.
