@American (and everybody else, really): I am beginning to post the first complete matchups now. And by now, I mean "in a few minutes".
So that everybody understands how this is going to work (because it got shitty and confusing while you were all asleep last night):
Polls cannot (apparently) be locked to members-only.
Therefore, story files will be posted in a locked thread. The thread will contain a link to the poll for that contest. There will be no files posted in the poll.
To be as clear as I can: Each matchup will be comprised of one locked thread that contains the files, and one unlocked poll.
Everybody thank Avery for coming up with the fix of posting the files in a locked thread. Otherwise, all these stories would either be open to the public eye or the tournament would be cancelled.

Dear Everybody:
If I have, in the process of posting your story/poll, etc., done anything in error, please PM me. Don't tell me in a thread, because that runs the risk of identifying you with your story and making me DQ you.
But seriously, the process of posting those wasn't as smooth and simple as I would have liked, so let me know if there are any problems.

Everybody go give Kirk a foot massage.
