About the contest: Richard has been quiet, which means he's on to something good probably. I wish he would come on and say "shit I can't think of anything to write. My novella has consumed me, and I just haven't done one thing for this contest."  (I'm Joking of course!).

Shit, I can't think of anything to write. Or maybe I'm lying and it's all done. Would it make you feel better or worse if I told you my last battle story "On a Bent Nail Head" has already been accepted for publication?

You could always write in in Welsh. I dunno if you ever saw Welsh written down but it looks a lot like what you wrote there.

True.  I think Laurance started it.  Not to mention the time I dedicated a Rod Stewart song to Utah.  Or the time Matt and Courtney did...whatever it was they were doing.

I read my story yesterday and it was so incredibly fantasmagorical that I had to be rushed to the ER from an overdose of wang-a-lang-a-ding-dong (that's latin for "that which is so good no one word could describe it"). Yup. I'm getting ALL those fuckin' mugs. I'mma open a tea house. Bitches!

I might be done.  Like...done done.  I had a mental break down earlier - not pretty.  But after I scooped up the remnants of my brain, I came to terms with what I had.

I'll throw up a lot more before I submit it though.

Utah, I have some bad news for you. Regardless if I win or not, you are advancing. By the beginning of April I will be in some part of Europe. Where I have no clue. I will be flying into Dublin and spending 25 days running around trying not to get arrested.

Unless you want to pull up a alternate to take my place. I'm good either way. I know they won't have the amount of time they would like, but they would have a chance.

Let me know.

You don't get points for being early (the voters will never know, well, they might be able to tell, but if they do it probably won't help). You can email utah your story whenever you want. But you can't resend after the first one.

@Richard: You bastard. Good job man.

What is all this early talk? Good goin' Covey. I would submit mine early, but it would look like the end of writing, like Rauschenberg's the end of painting:

Diaz, if it is any consolation, I am nowhere and probably won't be until sometime Saturday-Sunday morning depending on when I break bad.

I am just about ready to start drinking heavily.

Okay, so this is last call for one-month Workshop memberships. Other than the aforementioned, please PM me so I can get those activated. For the sake of longevity, I will probably try to shoot for activation as close to the polling as possible.
