@Otis, yeah, I thought your story was obviously the funnest, how can a supernatural mad professor mystery not be, but it definitely needed a good short story length to work. Can't put that much plot in such a little space without sacrificing something, like I thought the convo between the two guys at the diner lacked a bit of clarity between who was saying what and who was doing what actions. Obviously just a truncation problem, will love to see the story in a longer form where it has room to breath.
