Three very good stories, and very different considering they all came from the same source. Difficult choice to pick a favourite, but Cats for Ginger just had something else about it. All very good though.

Great stories all! Can I vote for all three? Ok, guess not. There is one story that lingers a bit longer than the others.

Great stories! Man, I'm so bummed I can't see the picture on my work computer. I'll have to go home tonight and see what picture inspired it all. Great jobs to all the authors. It was hard to choose a winner, but I voted. Good luck guys. ~Sam

These were good stories, all really well written.
Cats for Ginger had great atmosphere with this creeping sense of foreboding throughout the piece that I enjoyed. I'd like the plot to be a bit more obvious though, as I didn't feel like I 100% understood what was going on.
I liked the sorta Thelma and Louise vibe I got from A Gap In the Market. And holy shit, did I not expect that ending! Didn't like the kid, so his sticky ending was kinda satisfying. I know you guys had word constraints, but I would have loved that last scene slowed down so I could wring a little more satisfaction from it.
There were parts of Sawed Off Choctaw that really made me laugh, which is always fun. I like how it goes in a really different direction to what you expect. The last two sentences could be a little tighter, I think, but still a lot of fun.
They were all great stories, so I'm going to be a pain in the ass and think about them tonight, then vote tomorrow.

I like all three of these stories quite a bit, which I assumed I would looking at who the writers were. It was tough vote, but I ultimately went with "A Gap In the Market" because I really liked the scenario and the set up. My vote could have gone any of the three ways, but I felt that one hit just a little harder.

I didn't vote for that one but after sitting on them for a while longer that one stays with me the most for similar reasons.

Why, thank you, SP. I made it myself. :)

What a great bout! Congrats, Sound on the win. Jon and Voodoo wrote kick-ass stories as well, and I can safely say I had a bitch of a time deciding.

Wow, way to go, Sound! That was a great story, as were the other two. I gotta say, though, I had a bit of a chuckle with the phrase "tight threeway". Yes, I'm a sick fuck.

First time I've voted for the winner. All of them were high quality though.

Thanks guys. This was a particularly sweet victory because "A Gap in the Market" & "Sawed off Choctaw" were so memorable. A week later I'm still chuckling at the funny bits in Jonathan's story, and Em's ending blew my mind. Puns intended.

I like the threeway battle, usually if I recognize someone's writing it happens in the first couple sentences, this kind of throws a spanner into that and keeps it intriguing.

I second Renfield.
