I think there should be a commiseration thread for people who are writing stories that fuck with them or need a boost. Stories that make your stomach turn, or cry, but force you to write them. A thread where nothing bad can happen and only happy things are discussed or posted.

Post things that make you smile.

One drummer is cool. Hell, even two drummers are cool (sans Slipknot). But, nearly a dozen snares, six, maybe eight bass drums, several quads and few cymbals... All in sync...

This one also goes out to Court. IU!

FUCK YEAH IU! Also, drumline is huge in Indiana. I live a street away from my old high school and hear the drumline practice nearly every day. Drumlines are literally the most popular activity at most high schools in my area. We love that shit. People even show up for it.

This picture is one of my favorites, ever.

A bunch of people were lined up to see the Pope... but this dog thought they were all there for him. He's the happiest motherfucker alive.

I always wonder if they were musicians first and found that their music wasn't good or interesting at all and then became comedians but found that their jokes also just weren't good or funny so decided to be mediocre at both, or was it the other way around?

Makes me happy...best cover of a Neil Young tune besides Natalie Merchant's After The Goldrush or Cowboy Junkies' Tired Eyes...

Esp. like closing refrain, "I waited for you winterlong / You seemed to be where I belong", traded back-and-forth btwn. Black Francis and Kim Deal...

[I miss my g-friend she's 75 miles away since Sunday, getting training and a certification from State of Michigan]

[about which I am both happy and not happy...]
