Ahhaaahha-haaa!!
Well, I don't know how it happened, but my book is on the long-list of the Guardian "Not the Booker Prize" - how it got on there I have no idea:

So, if any of you want to vote - the thought of the stuffy, highbrow reading my filth comedy is too funny. It won't win. It won't get even close, but on the short list the Guardianonians will have to read it. And that IS funny.
On a more serious note, I think it is simply just a nomination that gets the ball rolling. So I am suggesting, through nest year, we all register and leave the odd comment. Then we at LIT have a vote for the best book published form one of 'US', and we all vote. It is highly doubtful we can make a winner, but the exposure and traffic I've had is bloody good. About 750+ visits to the website and blog. plus some have bought on the back of it. It seems a fun and free way for one of us to get some healthy free exposure. We could even have our own little vote prize for our group nomination?
Boo-yah!! and other motivational sounds.
Sounds like a worthy enough idea to me!
It finally let me leave a review so I could vote for ya! Good luck!
I'm more of a Telegraph man myself Jonny but seeing as it's you I'll pop on and vote.
Well done!
We mentioned it on this week's Books And Booze. Maybe this week we'll get enough listeners to win it for you! Hahaha.
Ha! That's a great response. A hell of a lot of hullaballoo for a coffee mug.
