OMG! Dave! That's so awesome! Googled it, and wished I could go to this, lots of cool people there. Unfortunately, I'm heading towards the busy season at work and must prepare for real war, holiday rush. I may have to go to this next year. Hopefully, the line-up will be just as good.

Yeah, I'm pretty excited, for Tim O'Brien especially.  I'm sad I'll miss Junot Diaz, I'll be at work by then, but I'm pumped to see all the vendor tents and authors....and thank God payday is tomorrow!

Of course you have to purchase the book being signed on site, and of course theres only a total of 7 Tim O'Brien books left. So I'm now the proud owner of Tomcat In Love.

Also, typing on the iphone sucks.

Le Score!  They restocked The Things They Carried so my inner obsessive bought a copy and got back in line. Tim O'Brien is the shit.

Now kill an hour for Steven Graham Jones.

Are you sure you have to miss Junot Diaz? I'd totally bunk off work to see him.

I saw Junot Diaz at the DC Book Festival.  Seriously, he's worth seeing.  He also stayed on signing autographs way after his time was up and even walked into the crowd to talk to people and shoot the bull.  He seems like a really cool guy.

I reall wanted to see Junot. He was sceduled for a Lit pub crawl. I guess there was a rain shower or hurricane or some such and he canceled altogether.

Steven Graham Jones, totally cool dude and happy to bullshit with a fellow West Texan for a while.
