Taurus the Great is my kindle ebook for sale on the amazon site. Here's an excerpt, if you like it, buy the whole book!!

Description:

"I possess" begins a declaration of independence expressed through short fiction, prose, and poetry. For what makes Taurus of the title great is that he possesses, above all else, himself.

Excerpt:

Masks the Greater

You weep in dark alleys penetrated by a nudity from having taken off your masks and gas mask, where your secret citadel collapses under fires besieging a beautiful city, laying to waste the analogy of hero and villain by engulfing every bridge in flames, and sinking ships before they could launch, you curl into the most cowardly position, leaning against the baby blue brick of your innermost circle you hide away in the foetal position within the weakest station, while the rest of your world burns. You cover faces that were never truly yours with starved skeletal arms, weapons unable to damage an infant, let alone the armies of debauchery and sinful machinations. You wave frantically for everything and everyone to just leave you be, but your shadow alone shows you live at all, since now you must live in the shade to be seen, and your bed will be made wherever there’s a scene, though all your imaginings are obscene collections of forgotten pasts best left in ancient times where no crimes existed but to reject existence with non-experience, a science that swallowed cities whole. Your entire world has been reduced to violence and brought down by war over the loss of the greatest science unadulterated innocence. You weep in dark alleys beside blocks carved to look like jackal lanterns under the greenest sky… in an Age of Information, whatever happened to you will remain unknown, you will remain unseen and unknown and unheard of… all that will be left of you will be your exactitude and the attitude that followed through.

A novel rates its own thread. (or else the self promotion forum would be redundant)

Gratz bro.

Nice work Grotto. Being the holiday season, I am receiving a Kindle for Christmas. As a gift to you and because I like what I read, on X-Mas morning, I will purchase your book.

Merry Christmas :)

Are you saying I don't write as good as Shakespare because I'm attractive... time to make a list:

Ways to Uglify Myself

1.

(wait, anything I do could turn out making me attractive to 'someone' out there)

Abort!

Hahaha. Well according to the movie, Shakespeare in love, he was hot but I've seen pictures. I'm joking, if I was that picky, my choices would be very limited. Writers aren't always the most attractive folks and they shouldn't need to be.

If Hemmingway is 'sort of good looking' than 'kinda hot' is way ahead of him. I'm a better writer than Hemmingway because I'm somewhat more attractive than him!

Don't forget to buy my book! :)

Whoa there, buddy.  I didn't say you were "kinda hot".  I wouldn't put you way ahead of Hemingway.

I have a rule where I don't buy books written by anyone who is better looking than I am.  (kidding)

Sorry.  Back OT - Go Buy Taurus the Great!!!
