There's a sublime song or two I could probably post as well, but I imagine that the picture has been acquired.

Probably wouldn't be such an advocate thereof if I lived in a slightly bluer state. Like, someplace they weren't such assholes about it. But I'm here, and I am at least influenced by my environment. Enough to say fuck em. Shit chills me out. I remember the constant nervous wreck I was before I discovered this particular alternative to alcohol and I cannot believe how much Mary Jane has contributed positively to my life.

Walking around with friends, cooking, and watching documentaries alternated with shitty b-movies. Then paregoric and kitties. A lot of kitties.

A bathtub full of hot water, a great book or two, cigarettes, ashtray, two-liter and/or carafe of coffee.

Sometimes TOO relaxing: I'm going to die like Jim Morrison or Whitney Houston someday...only, with an extremely bloated wrinkly water-soaked book floating beside me.

"He was hooked on books - shame - why didn't he get help?"

(most assuredly, I'm not going to live fast - die young - leave a beautiful corpse)

Dammit Boone, now we all look like perverts because you didn't say masturbate.

Hot baths usually clear my head. Also incense.

@Boone How're you feeling? Did you try the chamomile tea?

Much better, thanks - I did and it was good. Took four days for that poison to leave my body...

That's terrible.

If you ever want to get some really high quality tea try Ahmed Tea. I used to be really big on Tazo, but it's nowhere nears as strong or effective as Ahmed.

thanks for reviving this one, bot! what an interseting question, let's see...

violence against inanimate objects for the anger kind. (a baseball bat into heavy bag can be surprisingly satisfying)

going on rants and/or verbal abuse for the anger kind

sex for the weighs-on-your-mind kind

wacking it for the weighs-on-your-mind-but-it's-your-goddamn-wife kind... which doesn't really work...

driving fast kind of treats the symptoms but not the cause

alcohol works better for symptomatic treament in the short term

lifting heavy shit, preferably with loud music, for all kinds. probably the most effective if the timing works out.

fantasizing about revenge for all kinds

Working out, for sure. Really anything that'll just exhaust you.

Drinking beer and/or whiskey and/or a Four Loko. (If you don't know what that is, it's pretty gross. But strong).

Bong rips for the win.

Coffee sometimes. It relaxes my brain, not in a sleepy way, in a focus way.

Working out is the only thing on my list so far that's proactive. Unless bong rips are proactive. I usually write afterwards.

Doing homework isn't relaxing, but after you're done is, having that done.

Go skateboard and fall down.
