My grandmother gave me this book in early 1970's but the book could have been much older. My father thought he had it but cannot find it. I have searched on every online old book seller, domestic and international trying to locate this book but I just don't remember enough information about the book. I'm hoping someone on one of these sites will remember it as a child or their parents will.
It was about a young boy from India or around that area, maybe even a prince. He had all these beautiful ornate cages full of white mice. It seems like maybe one of the mice could talk to him but I'm not sure. The book was a hardback and was a burnt orange color.
