I got 52 wpm.

However when I, a thinking being, used the copy-paste tool at my disposal, I got 2238, which is pretty damn fast.  I should have been a secretary.

I got 47 wpm too with no mistakes. But once time for a job, i had to take a typing test and you weren't allowed to hit backspace or edit any mistakes at all, it counted them. I had a 38 wpm back then.

51 as well with no mistakes. Part of my problem is I'm an extremely slow reader. The other part is I make a lot of mistakes and correct them as I go out of habbit. I could probably shave a little time if I left the mistakes and even more if someone read it to me.

I used to have a really mean (but ultimately incredibly helpful) typing - or keyboarding - teacher in middle school who told me it didn't mean shit that I had no thumbs and only one legitimate finger on my right hand. She would grade me on the same scale as everyone and would bitch at me for taking longer than most to get the hang of it.

Now, I type on avg, 75 wpm, and I only use the pinky on my right hand, and three of the four fingers on my left. I'm a total asshole, though, so there's always a trade-off.  :)
