Hey guys and dolls,
Phantasmagorium, a horror mag started by Laird Barron, is in the process of relaunching. As part of that Phanta has launched a new weekly story series edited by Edward Morris. My short story "The Hot House" launched this new series! It's a Nikki-gothic piece under 600 words so check it out and spread the word pretty please. The magazine can really use your support!

A headsup in whore news- my short story "White Light, White Heat" will be featured in issue three of Pulp Modern. I'll be looking for people to write up reviews on it cause it's gonna need a lot of help considering the fact that its a print only medium (I'm currently corresponding with the editor and trying to get him to do both print and kindle/tablet mediums). Anyway, if anyone would like to read it and review it, let me know and I'll see if I can get it to you at a discounted price.

I'm getting ready to launch a combined literary/photography journal with my boyfriend. As of yet, it's very basic and has more information than prepared content, but we're currently seeking featured contributors for the literature side of the journal. These contributors will be spotlighted in further issues of the magazine. More information can be found on the site.
The magazine works around a concept of social contracts and human nature. It's called Our Collective Subconscious. Right now, we have only a basic wordpress site, but it has all the information for becoming a featured contributor, which is our main focus at the moment. I'm hoping to debut in Winter of 2012.

Thanks, man! I've actually been kind of weird about posting these music interviews on here, because, well, it's not a music site. However, anybody that is well known that I interview grows the site. These guys for instance have like 25k fans on Facebook and it's really cool to see the traffic hang around and check out stories from everyone. I think it's something that is really going to drive the site readership even more and help authors.
Oh, and Kathryn, your story has been quite popular.

Not live yet, but very excited so had to share - article and artwork that I delivered to the very wonderful Something Dark magazine has been promoted to cover feature and they'll be including a piece of flash fiction that I wrote some time back before I knew what flash fiction was. Not sure which piece they'll be using for the cover, but this may result in my scrawny naked body gracing a front cover. (see here if you're strong enough)
Also this week finished an article on the Art Market for a finance magazine which I won't link to because its achingly dull but the cheque attached was significant enough to make me abandon my principles.
In the meantime here's a blog post on Botticelli, Freud and why people should laugh in art galleries.
Now I'm going to go and get drunk.
