is anyone else keeping p with NPR's Three Minute Ficton contest? The prompt was to write 600 words about something that someone found but would not give back. It's interesting to watch.NPR in my opinion is one of the best literary programs available. They are posting and reading two or three stories each weekend until June 30 when they announce a winner. Some  stories posted are good. others posted are, like, really? Search  NPR Three Minute Fictn and you will see what I mean. I wrote one with just six hours time, when I learned of it. Dont expect it to win but , hey, who knows, right?

Is there a new one?  [Looks like I missed it.]  I tried it before.  Didn't win.  Also didn't donate to their most recent fund drive.

It's an ongoing contest, with new submissions opening 3 or 4 times a year, or something like that. I agree with Covewriter, some great and some are... not. Winners are published in the Paris Review, I believe, which is kinda cool.

yes winners published in Paris  Review, which is cool.  Good contest to keep an eye on to see what others are writing.
