I want to keep updated on as many aspects of noir and grotesque writing as possible. RSS readers are good, but I feel as though they don't do enough. So, I've come up with something I hope will benefit me and others too.

My idea is to set up multiple Twitter accounts, each that auto-populates RSS feeds for a variety of genre-related blogs. I will then follow that main Twitter account to get all of my literature news. On the plus side, an infinite number of other people can also follow these accounts. It's a win/win.

I am in the process of setting up Twitter accounts for each of the genres I want to follow. So far I have @NoirLiterature and @GrotesqueLit.

So, how can you help? Clue me in to some fantastic Noir and Grotesque blogs. These can be reader blogs, author blogs, academic toned blogs (actually, those would be preferable), cultural blogs (not necessarily just literature), or anything else that would make sense.

Ultimately, I would love for these accounts to be sought after, you know. Like, people with blogs would be honored to have my accounts syndicate them.

Any blogs (or any site with an RSS feed) that you can think of?

Feel free to link to any of the stuff me or Nathan do with Solarcide in any way you like bro. If that stuff fits. We have run stuff that is very much grotesque. Noir too. You have been good to us, glad to help back if we can.

Nice. Thanks. Do you have specific "grotesque" or "noir" tags or categories on the site? Every tag or category has its own RSS feed built in. I'd like these account to be as automated as possible (set and forget).

Hmm. I'll send you a pm tomorrow at some point about that kind of stuff when it isn't quite so close to my bedtime. If the posts aren't set up as you need them, which they are probably not as I am usually fairly oversightful with such things, then I'd have though it's probably just a matter of going back and editing a few in there.

Well, my new zine I'm putting together is called "Surreal Grotesque" so I would say that it fits your definition of grotesque. I want a stories that are kind of like if Alice of Wonderland lived in the 21st Century, dropped acid and talked to a mechanical wyrm who flew her into a five dimensional world populated with digital Cheshire cats.
