Hey guys,

I put together a list of websites to submit your writing to. I neglected my social life for some time to put this together, so I hope at least one or two of you find it helpful!

It's separated into five different sections:

Short Stories
Personal Essays
(because everyone needs to write arbitrary lists sometimes)

Check it out here: 50 Awesome Websites To Submit Your Writing To

Oh, and if you have a website of your own you feel should be on there, feel free to post a comment with a link.

Happy submitting.

Much obliged. I will take advantage of this some day when I build up my nerve. Right now I'm in the "I'm the worst writer to have ever lived on the face of the Earth. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy has named me as the new worst poet ever. Second worst fiction writer, right after Anonymous" kind of mood.

Yes. Of that list, I've been on Writer's weekly and have submitted essays to Wordriot. But many in the list (like brevity) don't pay you. They say they do, but I didn't get it. The SunMagazine is good too. There are some sites like studymode that don't pay you but let you download their high-quality articles, research papers and personal essays in return for your content.
