Rob W. Hart relates it to "that perfect punk song," Patrick Wensink compared me to Frank Bill and Harry Crews because of this novel (score), Richard Thomas wrote some awesome music metaphors, calling it a "power chord of dissonance" and "black comedy back beats pushed up against a bittersweet bass narrative," and Bradley Sands says the writing is elegant, and the characters well-crafted.
Basically, some fucked up young adults fuck up a lot and there's a mysterious dead body rotting in the backseat of the van while friends and members of the shitty punk band Toxic Garbage drive from Houston to Mexico on a whim. I guess. I suck at plot summaries (hence the unashamed review- and name-tossing above).
