My goodness, there are some very old threads being reincarnated lately. I guess we can thank spammers for something. Sometimes they are good threads that deserve a second round!
I too have read the big "is flash fiction worthwhile" debates but most of them were a decade ago. I don't really get why the form itself would be judged as good or bad, any more than poetry or mega-novel.
Personally, I love to read and write flash. Of course I DO have a flea-like attention span and am lazy and etcetera, but that may be beside the point. :p
