I am honestly so blessed to live in a place where your neighbors grow fresh produce and share with everyone.  It's lovely this time of year to always have something fresh to eat.  But seriously, what am I gonna do with all this corn??

Make tamales with the husks. Become an elote vendor. You can make creamed corn. Corn chowder. Corn bread. The possibilities are endless.

Lastly, the entire reason I actually went to New York... So I could go to Katz's Deli and get an incredible pastrami on rye.

Great photos, Kirk. I haven't been back to NYC since the Memorial was finished. It looks amazing.

Oh, man, the trip was worth it based soley on the pastrami photo. The difference between pastrami and corned beef? After it's brined, pastrami is smoked - otherwise, they're the same.

Because at LitReactor, we know meat.

And booze.

And, apparentely, we fantasize about piano players.
