Hello, I'm working for Consequence Magazine, a literary journal focused on writing concerned with the consequences of war and armed conflict.

For our 2018 journal, we are looking to compile a list of women writers that are writing on this subject. If you know anyone, or are one of them, please send me a PM or email me so that I can reach out to you/or them about soliciting possible submissions.

I appreciate your assistance in this matter, and I truly look forward to hearing from you.

Very respectfully,

Jose F. Diaz

Hey Jose. I have a wonderful young writer friend in Turkey. She already has a Masters in Screenwriting. Her life has been deeply changed and scarred by the war she has lived through. She is very private, but I will forward this to her and see if she is interested. She just received an MFA scholarship for a low residency Creative Writing program,  but unfortunately it wasn't enough resources to make it possible for her to do it. She wants to do a low residency program because she has elderly grandparents to care for and wants to stay in Turkey. If she is interested in the exposure, she might do something or not, or at least put you on to some writers who are writing what you are talking about. She is very well read, and has that talent for connecting with other writers.. She is also brilliant. I will send her the link. gsr

Are you considering already published authors? If so, there's Baghdad Burning by Riverbend. She started out as a blogger. Soon thereafter her blog entries were published as a book; a very powerful book from a brilliant young woman. She may still be blogging and writing about war, I don't know? This is her old blog. Appears that she ended it in 2013. Don't know if she has a new blog? Do know her book was fantastic.

Jose. I actually have an extra cover of the paperback. (At one time I bought several to give to my brothers). If you want to send me your address I'll mail it to you. If interested, email me at ray.gehring@gmail.com
