I know most of you probably saw this already, but I wanted to spread the word as far as I can.
Chuck and Lidia are offering a 12-week course in Portland, every Monday for 3 months. It's an incredible opportunity.
I have no stake in this. I'm being straight-up when I tell you that you should apply if it's at all feasible.
There are lots of reasons different folks can't attend. But in terms of price, even if you flew out every week, I think you'd get your money's worth. In terms of quality, I think you'd be hard-pressed to find higher-quality instruction at any university or workshop. Also, there's no application fee. You just have to submit 500 words or less to an email address. This is very rare too.
I applied. I applied last time and didn't get in. But I wanted to give it another shot.
I want to link everyone to a very short "inside track" Chuck provided for a workshop about a year ago. This advice was for last time, but I'm guessing we'd all do well to pay attention: http://chuckpalahniuk.net/news/an-inside-track-on-the-writing-wrong-course
