Does anyone else ever find their short novellas connect to a larger narrative you did not originally intend, but just kind of came together?

Like for me it's not just Nymphs Of Winter Fire, The Hatchling Song, Uploaded Fairy, or The Cat Who Longed For Mortal Love.

As I would later find the narratives goes back to Uchronian times to 2300. Drastically changing the meaning of the entire body of work so far.
