Hello,
I'm Ian from Manchester, teacher by day writer by night. At the moment I'm keeping it short and sweet, writing pieces anywhere between 2,000 and 4,000 words. My preferred genre is transgressive with aspects of literary fiction thrown in for good measure. Although I'll read pretty much anything that isn't romance. I'm looking forward to meeting you all and reading lots of stories and getting some help with editing my own.
In a moment either Dave, Avery or a combination of the two will be by with the official Litreactor welcome.
On top of that, Matt will post fun pictures to brighten your day (and if you're feeling a little blue, he has puppies available on request)
Shortly after these things take place your welcome thread will most likely turn into a plethora of sexually suggestive comments that have nothing to do with you joining the site.
Welcome.
Welcome. Enjoy this. You're approved.

This made me laugh so loud, everyone in the office around me now thinks I'm crazy.
BALLS!
you're welcome
You get this.
Hello Ian! Brevity is awesome! I'm Jen, formerly the verbose lobster (will explain later eventually)!
You get this.
Very cute. I wish you started this like a couple of months ago. This will have to do. Sighs. A bit envious of Ian, but that's okay. I'll survive.
Any relation to Flemming?
I'm sort of bored of doing this now. No offense. I'm just very fickle. Enjoy this.
Also I am so hungry I might die.
Again with the dying stuff.
I ate lunch and I feel better.
Sorry. Welcome!!!
Howie. I like the picture.
Welcome to the Lit! I look forward to reading some of your work. The Battledome is a great place to put those introductory points to work and if you find yourself feeling frisky, the Flash Me thread is a great place to share some micro fiction. Welcome and enjoy!
