I bought it because it was pretty, and on sale for $3.  I'm actually a 49er's fan, but have no clothing proclaiming myself as such. 

I use that picture to prove to people how brave I am.

I have an LSU shirt I bought for $2.50. I used to live in LA (the state) and liked LSU as a kid and still watch them sometimes if they're on TV (mainly football), so it's in this grey region of not-quite-real-fan-wear/not-quite-ignorant-thrift-purchase.
