Hello all,

I am Bobby, live in Boise (no, Idaho is not full of a bunch of KKK, its actually quite beautiful), from California and love this site already!

I look forward to meeting you folks and getting to work on writing some reviews for you all.  I guess I will also post some of my own work too

"Idaho is not full of a bunch of KKK"

Is this a common perception?  Because I have never heard that.  And the fact that you brought it up like that makes me feel like you're probably in the KKK.  Or a potato trying to trick me.

Nah - I'm sure you're cool.  Welcome to the site!  Your awkward and sort of racist introduction is lovely.

What do you write about?

They prefer K3 (trademarked, of course).

Welcome, Bobby.

Welcome Bobby. I see you used the appropriate words for an introduction. Be wary of any Aliens lurking around here.

Well, Bobby from Boise, we need more quirky people in here. Welcome!

My sister almost moved there from California. By all accounts, a lot of very friendly and hospitable people. Which we want no part of here, so you leave that shit at home, dig?

Totally kidding (at least mostly), of course, and welcome aboard! Hope you find yourself a place here. I second Avery's question: what do you write?

*smiling politely*

Actually, my understanding of Idaho was not K3 related, but rather that it's full of militia types, as documented in Neal Stephenson's book Reamde. And why would he lie? Okay, it was like one neighborhood in all of Idaho, but close enough.

So I assume you're packing some serious heat.

At least, that what my alien overlords tell me.

When I first moved out here from Cali, i was told beware of all the KKK around idaho because the Grand Wizard for K3 lived here.  to top it off, a week into it all, I walked into a bar and was told they didnt play my type of music there.  i thought it was funny more than anything.  We do have some militias here as well, but all in all, very nice people and the instance from above was out of the ordinary.

As far as what I write... well... let's just lump me into the Literature category.  I really just write and what comes out, comes out (though I need to work on it a ton).  I really couldnt lump it into a genre, but I will say that I have brought different genres into my writting.  Im excited about learning more from you guys as I have only really taken one creative writing course and am really just starting the process of becoming a better writer.

@ Gomez: i find it funny you made the comment about the aliens as your intro thread was the only one I read before I posted mine so understood the joke.  Oh, and you would be amazed at the love of Mayo in this place. they put it in just about everything!!!

@ Riser:  No worries about me being to "Idaho" for you guys. Im from California originally and as they say, you can take the boy out of Cali, but you cant take the Cali out of the boy.  I wipe my butt with friendly and hospitable! HAHAHA

Well, one of the largest Neo-Nazi compounds in the US *is* in Idaho and they hosted a big KKK + Neo-Nazi group hug a few times. So...there is a definite presence there, that's factual. But I don't think many people really know that, since both groups are pretty much completely underground now. Besides, there are a shit ton of Neo-Nazis in the LA/San Diego areas and no one goes "whoa, be careful in SoCal, it's like Nazi central!"

So...whoever told you that was right, but dramatic.

And...welcome.

No, I can't say I have. We spend a fair amount of time on Coronado Island and in Imperial Beach, though.

Sorry I didn't clarify, what I meant was Santee, a little north of Mission Valley I think, it is the home of a large neo-nazi population and the only Dairy Queen in California is there so you can't help but love it.

Passed by Coronado earlier and cant say it didnt look nice. It's a great summer day for the beach too bad I hate the beach. Take this whale.

I'm guessing you're talking about San Francisco.

No, I'm talking about the whole Bay Area, the 152 runs through Los Banos and is the only way to get through the foothills to get to anywhere in the Bay Area.

EDIT: Aside from the I-5, obviously. But the 152 is more efficient from the Central Valley to most places in the Bay Area.

I actually grew up in the Central Valley and my Grand Parents actaully live in Los Banos.  Recommendation: if you ever find yourself torn between falling asleep at the wheel or staying in Los Banos, take your chances on the road.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes, my friends!!

Hi, welcome, I've never been happy, my father used to beat me for dropping the bucket of water I was sent to fetch every morning so my grandmother could cook for the family, and I'm not even that likable because I am extremely racist for no reason, since although my father was a bully and a tyrant, he believed all men to be equal, and he was murdered for standing up for gay rights in the late 1990s, so whereas you may have started this sentence feeling sorry for me, now you really see that I'm just a big old cunt and have no excuse and should just kill myself fareWELL fareWELL goodBYE / TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT, IT'S TIME TO DIE
