I'm alive, if it can be called that.

I'm working the South by Southwest (SXSW) music fest in Ausint, TX, for anyone curious, crowd control/doorman at a club.

Never heard so many foreign languages in a ten foot radius in my life.  Lot's of Brittons, few Scots, Deutschlanders, and a whole lof of other.

Oh, and the hipsters.  Them.

If Im' a little incommunicado for the next, week, that's why.  Don't worry, I still love you.

Dave that sounds cool. FYF over the summer was the same--lots of people from all over te world, and a shit ton of hipsters. I just kept scratching my head going "This is a punk festival, right?" But I couldn't be sure because I had only heard of the two bands I came to see.

That is what I love about festivals. Serendipity. Although I fucking hate that word.

Are you Alive? Why, yes! I happen to be alive! Jobless, maybe, but still among the living. I'm on a trip right now, which makes me less active than I'd like to be.
Name/Age? Ya'll know me. I'm Courtney, the one with the kind of name that would look good on police/detective novels.
What’s your favorite smell? Um... Hmm. Uh... donut smell. Yes. Donut smell.
Which kind of Fritos do you like best? None. Fritos are lame.
Favorite thing made green for St. Patrick’s Day? Not eggs and ham. Why would anyone do that, anyway? I suppose everyone else... made green with envy when they see how awesome I am. Any day of the year, actually.
If vegetarians love animals so much, why do they eat all their food? Because Vegetarians are confused and don't actually love animals at all. They love being rebellious and having causes. And salad.
What do you believe is the greatest unsolved mystery of all? The mystery of ourselves -- who we are, what is best for us as an individual. And how big the universe actually is. And why people enjoy fritos of any flavor.
What is your first memory about reading? Hmm... my first memory about reading... well, it isn't necessarily my first memory, but in first grade I received a book for losing a tooth. Which is pretty creative for my parents to have done, if you ask me, as they aren't very creative. I also remember receiving coffin-shaped boxes once a month, overflowing with Goosebumps novels and the like.

Are you Alive? Yes.
Name/Age? I'm Ben - and I'm 34
What’s your favorite smell? Ham. or bacon. Some kind of cooked pig.
Which kind of Fritos do you like best? I don't know what Fritos are.
Favorite thing made green for St. Patrick’s Day? I don't do St. Patrick's Day.
If vegetarians love animals so much, why do they eat all their food? Vegetarians eat animal's food because they believe their mimicry brings them closer. They do terrible things to their own faeces behind closed doors. Allegedly.
What do you believe is the greatest unsolved mystery of all? Why aren't the Super Furry Animals more popular?
What is your first memory about reading? Something about pirates wearing hats of appropriate colours.

Are you Alive?  I'm alive... but these days it feels more like surviving (total Debbie Downer response!)

Name/Age? Rachel/30

What’s your favorite smell? When hiking and I walk into a really strong smell of sage.  I also really like the smell of marijuana.

Which kind of Fritos do you like best?  Not a fan of processed foods

Favorite thing made green for St. Patrick’s Day?  The clover tattoo on my toe, saves my ass every year.

If vegetarians love animals so much, why do they eat all their food?  Aren't vegetarians animals too?

What do you believe is the greatest unsolved mystery of all?  The purpose of life

What is your first memory about reading? I could never focus long enough to form a first memory

What’s your favorite smell? saltwater
Which kind of Fritos do you like best? fritopie
Favorite thing made green for St. Patrick’s Day? It's racist to wear green on St Patrick's day
If vegetarians love animals so much, why do they eat all their food? Self loathing closeted meat eaters
What do you believe is the greatest unsolved mystery of all? I lost my hat the other day. No idea where it is.What is your first memory about reading? A book about a Panda that the title escapes me..

Favorite thing made green for St. Patrick’s Day? The Chicago River!
If vegetarians love animals so much, why do they eat all their food? Well...I'm a vegetarian, but I do if for health reasons.
What do you believe is the greatest unsolved mystery of all? What is beyond our viewable universe, and all that stuff about dark matter.

What is your first memory about reading? I know I read before this, but my first actual memory is in 3rd grade reading The Magic Tree house series to my classmates.
