Completely agree Stacy, that is definitely a direction the questions could go to get creepy and invasive. (also completely agree with the southern accent comment)

@Stacy You wrote about coon dogs? Rad! I have 2! Erm, they weren't the ones that got skinned, were they?
And @Sean all my dogs have southern accents, yo.

Yeah I grew up with a bunch of coon dogs, the story is about coon hunting/stalking. So weird to see a mention of them on here, I always get weird looks when I mention that my dad was a coon hunter. Haha
I'll probably put it up in the workshop after I expand it from the class version.
What kind do you have?

Questions should get creepier so I'll have a better excuse for omitting the truth from my answers.

@Emma, when you say all your dogs have southern accents, I can't decide if you're speaking of your friends or your pets...but I'm imagining your pets spinning some Mark Twain-like yarns while laying around the house.

I have a 2 year old redbone coonhound and a 3 year old hi-tan (which is a redbone/treeing walker hound cross that has a black saddle like a bloodhound). Most amazing dogs on earth; I get comments every time I walk them, and I've actually had people tear up talking about their daddy or granddaddy's hound dogs.
The 3 year old is a born hunter, amazing. I don't hunt but she and I do tracking work together and she gets squirrels/rabbits in our neighborhood and follows coons between sewer grates.
They are my pride and joy; can you tell?
Would love to read your story if you put it up!

@Sean omygodtotally the pets have southern accents. My dogs are from Oklahoma and Mississippi and I have a cat from Texas. We don't tell them to "get down", we tell them to "git". We come up with dialogues that they have amongst themselves. I've actually been thinking about writing a kids book about my older hound, who was found as a stray in the middle of rural Oklahoma when she was tiny.
and, strangely... most of my friends are southern so yeah on that front too, I guess.

Pry away- that's Cahill's Market, a little farm in Bluffton, SC that serves the best fried chicken and sides on the planet. Just thinking about it makes me drool like Homer Simpson.

Cool. Best fried chicken here is (supposedly) the Exxon down the street. It's good, much better than you'd expect from an Exxon, but I know there must be one better somewhere.

Exxon chicken, I love it! Probably not free range, though, huh?

Free range -- no. WIDE range (of bacteria) -- most likely.

@Jessica: i think you should make it your September goal to be creepier in your questions.
If I get creeped out, that would be amazing.

" I want to know if it was to your picture."
Well, this is supposed to be about you guys (YOU, YOU, YOU!) so I'd hate to make it all about me (ME!! ME!! ME!!), because naturallly everyone would answer yes.
But honestly, when I read the bit about my accent, the first voice in my head said, "It isn't THAT bad, is it?" To which the second voice replied, "I think that was a compliment." And then the first voice started to cry and the second voice broke all of my dishes.
