I'm already looking forward to Halloween, and I like to get into some good horror in the fall. What've you got?

I've liked Stephen King (The Long Walk is my favorite of his), I liked The Troop by Nick Cutter. I thought Grady Hendrix's My Best Friend's Exorcism was okay, but less horror-y more teenage friendship (plus, I thought Paul Tremblay's Head Full of Ghosts was less hyped and WAY better. It was one of those weird things like when two asteroid movies came out pretty close to each other). The first half of John Dies At The End was awesome, and then it was like it turned into a secondary book that I didn't care for. I like horror comics, I like bizarro, I liked Edward Lee's Header. My all-time favorite Halloween book might be Dark Harvest by Norman Partridge.

Got anything good for me?

Bonus points if I've never heard of it.

Also bonus points for audiobooks.

I would recommend Victor LaValle's THE CHANGELING or THE DEVIL IN SILVER. LaValle narrates both audiobooks and he fucking kills it each time. I'm reading MY BEST FRIEND'S EXORCISM right now and I'm liking it a lot, but yeah, it's basically just a John Hughes movie but that's something right in my wheelhouse so I have no complaints.

DARK HARVEST will forever hold the crown, though.

I'll check out those audios. I love a good audio horror. Thanks!
