I just made lard buttermilk biscuits with sausage and egg stuffed between their buttery fluff. Anybody else have a homestyle meal equally heart stopping and delicious?
This relates to literature because my food has given me the energy to write a chapter of my book, I feel like writing good wholesome love chapters today :)

I just used that title because how many of us there are on here and that were probably one of the few places that knows what a lard and buttermilk biscuit is haha.

Averydoll is my Tyler Durden. It's actually quite awkward sometimes.

That's gotta be it. If I have to pick one Kentuckian, I'm going with Doll. She's the most attractive. Sorry guys...

I was mistaken for someone's hallucination once.

This girl came up to me in a library and said, "I know your not really there and I wish you would quit following me.  I know you are only in my head."

True story.

@Dwayne
By far worse place to live in ky. Been here three years and I'm moving back to the Louisville area to escape this god awful boredom. All there is to do here is meth or pills, I swear the whole time I've been here there hasn't been a single party. How fucked up are teenagers that don't party? I mean come on.

Dwayne's picture
Dwayne from Cincinnati, Ohio (suburbs) is reading books that rotate to often to keep this updated December 18, 2011 - 9:43pm

Most parties in small towns I've seen are like 5 or 8 people and they don't talk about it much. If you aren't close friends with folks you don't get invites.

David Shepherd's picture
David Shepherd from shepherdsville, KY is reading Idoru by William Gibbson December 18, 2011 - 9:49pm

No I mean they literally don't drink here. I know everybody and they just don't drink here and the parties are all straight edge. It's so odd.

Dwayne's picture

I think it's just the highschool crowd, some strange fucking people here in laurel county. I'd say alot of it has to do with it being a dry county but still, this is just to dry. I have to make my own alcohol now. Damn being under 21!

David, how old are you? If someone's avatar is a picture of a person, I usually assume it's the user. I suppose not in your case?

David Shepherd's picture
David Shepherd from shepherdsville, KY is reading Idoru by William Gibbson December 18, 2011 - 10:53pm

Cary grant is my avatar, very old actor, back then men were men and nobody will ever look that cool just smoking a cigarette. But I'm just an 18 year old who could probably pass for a thirty year old with my beard and dashing features. But I will leave litreactor in complete ignorance as to my image so as you read dashing features you will be thinking double chin and oozing greasy face. Or at least until I get over my laziness and take a picture of myself instead of using google as a crutch for damn near everything.

You know, I think I'll start assuming everyone here is 18.  It'll probably serve me better than my original assumption that everyone is 30.

David Shepherd's picture
David Shepherd from shepherdsville, KY is reading Idoru by William Gibbson December 19, 2011 - 6:10am

The only thing I've learned to assume from these people from my short time on here is you people will be as crazy as I am. Craziness is just a tool of the trade for us writers though.

Dwayne's picture
Dwayne from Cincinnati, Ohio (suburbs) is reading books that rotate to often to keep this updated December 19, 2011 - 9:53am

Crazy is how you write a bunch of bad books that critics praise because they don't understand them. The trick is to be the sane one around a crazy group/person, then write that down.

Well if it means less competition I'm all for people not being allowed till they are 30, but seeing as how I'm 32 that's easy to say.
