I'm looking for a handful of horror paperbacks. Out of print, though not rare, and they're not out in ebook format or anything.

They're available, but they're a little pricier than I'd like, coming in at like $30 here and there.

Anyone got a good source for stuff that's out of print or difficult to find with decent prices? The answer might just be that they cost what they cost, but I figured I'd throw it out there and see.

Ones I've tried:
Better World Books
eBay
Powells
Half Price Books
Amazon

There are so many places where you can buy books and also their budget suits your pocket. For example, Flipkart, Snapdeal, HPB.com and as you mentioned above Amazon.in also one of the great places for buying books at the cheaper price.

I visit Thriftbooks sometimes. It’s basically what it says it is, an online thrift shop for books. The stock is constantly changing and the conditions are from acceptable to new. Prices are flexible and usually quite cheap. Good luck with your hunt.

The pain-in-the-ass route would be requesting it from a library and scanning it yourself. Then you just run OCR Text Recognition in Adobe and you've got an ebook.

Funny you should mention that. I'm trying that one with a book that's out of print. The scanning is SO BORING, but I think it just might work.
